Little things matters so much to me because I take care of myself and my days so that I will always have a good day such as:
Engaging in light physical exercises like short walk and yoga.
I used to practice deep breathing exercises to calm my mind and in order to have a good mood for the day.
Prioritized self-care like listening to cool music.
Stay hydrated and the last but not the least is to have a gratitude spirit.

It is extremely important to stay positive, that's for sure. Trying to maintain a positive mental attitude throughout the day can be a struggle but like Zani said, you just do some light breathing exercises or listen to soothing music etc..
