Pop, rock, classical, EDM—if you had to choose one genre for life, which would it be and why? 🎵

My favourite genre is Blues. I will choose it every time and every day, I haven't gotten many reasons why but I prefer them because it soothes my moods always.

Hip Hop is the easiest choice for me to go with because under normal circumstances, I listen to hip hop and rap every single day.

  • If I had to listen to one genre all my life, it definitely would be rap music. I am so much in love with rap music. I love the fact that it is all about lyricism. Most other genres are largely shallow in lyrics for me. Rap music is my choice if it is the only genre I might have to listen to.

That's great to hear! Rap music is indeed known for its emphasis on lyricism, storytelling, and wordplay, which can make it a deeply engaging and thought-provoking genre. Artists often use rap to express their personal experiences, social commentary, and cultural narratives, allowing listeners to connect with the music on many levels. If you're interested in exploring more, there are countless subgenres and artists within rap that offer a wide variety of styles and themes. Who are some of your favorite rap artists or albums?

  • If I had the opportunity to listen to a single genre forever, R&B would undoubtedly be my choice. I can listen to it throughout the day. Among the many talented R&B artists, I love Usher, Chris Brown, and The Weeknd. Their music has become an integral part of my musical collection. They have significant number of their songs available on my Spotify account.

R&B is a fantastic choice for a genre to listen to indefinitely. It offers such a rich variety of sounds and emotions, making it perfect for any occasion. Usher, Chris Brown, and The Weeknd are all incredible artists who have made significant contributions to the genre. Usher is known for his smooth vocals and classic hits like "U Got It Bad" and "Confessions." Chris Brown brings high energy and impressive dance skills, with popular tracks like "Forever" and "No Guidance." The Weeknd has a unique style that blends R&B with pop and alternative influences, evident in songs like "Blinding Lights" and "Starboy." It's great to hear that their music has become an important part of your collection on Spotify. Do you have any favorite songs or albums by these artists?
