The intense rivalry between boxing supporters and MMA enthusiasts grows stronger. I have seen fans argue about the greatest amongst the sports legends like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey. In your opinion, which combat sports leads in terms of public interest.

MMA is a popular sport same with Boxing. In my own opinion, both are leading when it comes to public interest. I will go for Boxing because of it's increased recognition.

Boxing is quite popular and global than MMA. The mixed martial arts will have to take many years before they can be able to reach the level of boxing, and trust me, it is not going to be an easy ride.

For you to know between boxing and MMA which one is more popular, just look into where there's more money. It's in boxing 100%. The money in boxing is 100% better than what you get in MMA and it's all about publicity.

Boxing is more popular globally than MMA. I personally don't know any MMA superstar enough to identify them with their pictures. But I know more than 10 mainstream boxers to identify them with their pictures. In Africa where I hail from, people don't even know about the existence of a sport called MMA.

I'm a former boxer but I have to say the rise in popularity for MMA has been massive. I however still prefer a good boxing match for it's skill.
