There are many techniques but the ones that worked for me are deep breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation and writing down my thoughts, healthy sleep habits and emotions.
Talking to my mother whenever it's too much for me to bear or handle. This woman knows everything. She knows the right thing to say at the right time. She's my personal therapist.
I didn't develop a close relationship with my mother. It doesn't mean we don't talk or discuss but there are levels of our mother and daughter relationship. I am working on having a better relationship with my daughters.Ja sa bong wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 10:21 pm Talking to my mother whenever it's too much for me to bear or handle. I wouldn't say it is your fault because from my understanding, daughters are more closer to their father while sons are more closer to their mothers. It has always been that way naturally.Zani wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 10:37 amI didn't develop a close relationship with my mother. I envied her so much but I know that both did the work together.Ja sa bong wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 11:25 pmI wouldn't say it is your fault because from my understanding, daughters are more closer to their father while sons are more closer to their mothers. There are some people who are usually an exception to any rule in life. They are rare personalities. Your friend is one of such people.Zani wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 11:03 amI don't know how true this is but I have a friend that do everything from the zero to the hundreds of her life, she tell her mum everything. Yeah, I can agree to that because I wonder how they put in the work. Both the mother and daughter are really exceptional and I know that's how the daughter's relationship with her own children will be.
