    Super Bowl 59

    by fdk » Sun Feb 09, 2025 9:59 am

We're only a few hours away now from Super Bowl 59 and I for one am very excited!

I'm from the UK and have gotten massively into NFL over the last five years or so and have watched every Super Bowl since 2019.

My "main team" is the SF 49ers but I'm also a huge fan of the Chiefs (mainly because of Mahomes, wow!) so I'm really cheering them on tonight!

Any other NFL fans here, and if you see this before the game - what do you think the result will be?!

The Philadelphia Eagles demolish the Kansas City Chiefs to win 40-22. No one excepted that kind of result.

I enjoyed Kendrick Lamar half time performance.

I had a feeling that the Eagles were going to get at least 40 points come around the 3rd quarter. I was hoping the Chiefs would have won since they're my home team, we no longer have the Rams in St. Louis so even though I live closer to St. Louis Kansas City is still in my home state. It was a rough game to watch if you're a Chiefs fan. Mahomes really screwed up big time and you can see how the outcome of the game was getting to him.

Oh my, I'm quite gutted after staying up late and having a little wager on the Chiefs!

Mahomes just didn't turn up, surprising considering he is undoubtedly still the world's best QB, but what a game from Hurts, really throwing his hat into the ring as a real contender for HoF status one day.
