    It was never easy to optimize websites quite a few years ago now as it took so much and many just left their sites available for those on desktops rather than messing around trying to optimize for mobile.

    Nowadays, a lot of the software has the option to make your sites mobile-optimized without any issues and I tend to use those now.

    Newer CSS technologies like Flexbox and Grid make it easier to make mobile-friendly layouts. Gone are the days of HTML tables for multiple rows/columns of content.
